Program Mission for the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science
The mission of the Northern New Mexico College Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science program is to provide a high quality multi-disciplinary education experience that is relevant to solving environmental problems, promoting employment opportunities, and stimulating interest in graduate studies and environmental research.  This program will stimulate and foster a spirit of intellectual inquiry with a focus on community based environmental sustainability through scientific investigation and training.

Project Mission Hazmat Science Applications
Northern’s HSA mission is to provide education, training, research and services that improve the health and safety of people working with hazardous materials or responding to CBRNE incidents and the success of consequence management efforts --without expenditure for additional equipment or supplies - by maximizing the effectiveness of procedures, training, and equipment.
